Some examples

The Reliant Regal was available with a saloon or van body.
The Greece-importer built his own pick-up.
Later on Reliant produced the pick-up in England mainly for overseas markets. (click left)
There is an other way too, to build a pick-up (click right)

The idea and first sketches

A conversion of a 4 seater Regal 3/30 to a pick-up
While building the pick-up Iīve altererd some features.

Well, while working on the car, why not improve the accessibility of the motor-compartment?.
The engine is hardly accessible.
There is only a small bonnet (or should I say key-hole?) and three hatches from the inner body.

This is the access to the engine (with the "bonnet" removed)

Building the pick-up

Autumn 2001

"Photo-shooting" in our garden.
You should not take pictures of a car in glaring sunlight, specially when it is dark green and in front of a green background!!! Thatīs the reason for the bad picture-quality.

New: The "swinging bonnet"
The engine is still hard to access, but ages better than before!

Some details of the new rear-wall of the cabin and of the "wheel-arch"

Some more pictures

New!
Tarpaulin for the pick-up.

Iīve made a tarpaulin to protect the wood.
